A book which gives important dates but does not dwell on the minute details. Not a hagiography but a lesson in humanity. Rivera as he was, a genius with him odious and Frida as it was a force in suffering, and an absolute love. Two artists dissimilar and contradictory, which met in a high conception of art and human nature.
And what does no harm, a splendid writing: Le Clezio Nobel is not for nothing.
